Greenpeace in Central and Eastern Europe is looking for a:
PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR (part-time, 20h)
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth operational delivery of an international project. You will coordinate administrative processes, support budgeting and legal documentation, manage freelancer workflows, ensure correct accounting and taxation (working with an external accountant) and enable effective internal communication. The role bridges project implementation and financial compliance, working closely with the Finance team, while being embedded in the project teams day-to-day work.
Job requirements
Support project planning and implementation by ensuring clear operational workflows.
Ensure grants receiving and reporting.
Budget control and reporting in collaboration with project lead and finance controller.
Draft, review and manage legal agreements and other documents for freelancers, internal and external partners.
Organize offline team meetings: venue coordination, travel arrangements, logistics.
Handle HR and people operations support.
Ensure administration operations complient with Bulgarian laws (working with external lawyers and an accountant).
Who we are looking for :
You are fluent in English & Bulgarian, any level of Russian will be an advantage.
You have a top level of expertise in project administration, operations or coordination (NGO experience is an advantage).
You are familiar with budget planning, invoice processing, and contract management in Bulgaria.
You are able to manage intense workflow and cope under pressure in rapidly changing circumstances.
You have a commitment and enthusiasm for Greenpeace’s work.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 602.- gross for 20 hrs/week.
