Campaigner at Greenpeace Ukraine

We are looking for a Campaigner to identify and address barriers for green recovery of Ukraine, to develop campaigns aimed to push for green recovery of Ukraine in the sphere of energy transition from nuclear to renewables together with communication and engagement teams.
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on environmental protection in Ukraine.
Job requirements
The main scope of the role will include but not be limited to:
Participating in planning of campaigns - strategy and steps for the green recovery and energy transition in Ukraine
Lobbying/Public Affairs (networking and maintaining high-level contacts in the political and economic, and NGO sectors)
Leading implementation of campaign projects in the sphere of energy transition from nuclear to renewables on national level, including reporting to the donor
Coordinating the organization and communication of events, both live in Ukraine and online. (of exhibitions, presentations, public discussions, webinars, etc.)
Collaborating on national, regional and international level - with UA NGOs with similar goals, collaboration with international Greenpeace offices and colleagues,
Public speaker’s function for Greenpeace campaigns (giving media interviews, conducting presentations, speaker at conferences)
Participating and building a network of organizations, activists and stakeholders around Green reconstruction and modernization of Ukraine
Preparing of information material and position papers, web-content and reports on campaign topics, support the UA team in the communication about the general UA outputs
Developing expertise in the field of Green reconstruction/ RES and nuclear energy field
Traveling in Ukraine and abroad (reservation from the army is not provided)

Work experience: work in associations/civil/NGO sector is a plus
Experience in project management, coordination of people and processes
Volunteer work is a plus
Fluent in Ukrainian and English (B2-C1)
At least 3 years professional experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

The role holder reports to the office director. The position is to be based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The final salary is based on the organization's salary system and the relevant experience of the position holder. We are receiving applications on a rolling basis.
