The Finance and HR team is overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of the organization. Their commitment to efficiency, sustainability, and creating a positive work environment ensures that the colleagues can focus on advancing Greenpeace's mission to address global environmental challenges.
The HR and Finance Manager will play a crucial role in supporting Greenpeace Romania's mission by overseeing HR processes, recruitment, employee development, organizational development and Finance processes. As a member of the Senior Management Team, will provide guidance and advice for the Office Director. This multifaceted role requires strategic thinking and effective collaboration with various teams to ensure compliance, efficiency and a robust organisational culture.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual with:
A successful track record in HR and/or finance roles.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to manage recruitment processes and enhance employee development.
Experience in financial planning, bookkeeping oversight, and cash flow management.
Knowledge of compliance with local financial, HR and other legal regulations.
The ability to effectively manage multiple processes concurrently, handling diverse responsibilities with efficiency and attention to detail.
Experience working in a cross-cultural setting, preferable in a support role
Capacity to work under pressure and manage personal stress levels.
Problem solving ability, excellent communicator, strong organisational and time management skills.
Good numerical and report writing skills. Able to build trust and enforce procedures.
